To continue our Photography trip, we travelled from Doolin down to Dingle, this was approx a 3 hour drive, and really pretty especially as we got down towards the Ring of Kerry where the mountains begin. We stayed right in the heart of Dingle, which was a lovely little buzzy tourist town, we stayed in the Dingle pub, which was a lovey Irish pub with a few rooms above, the food was great and there was live Irish music. For sunset I headed out to a place called Dunquin pier, in the Dingle Peninsula ( the sky wasn’t great, it was really cloudy but it was just nice to be out exploring )
The next day on our photography trip we left in the mid morning and headed to Castletown Beare, a much quieter place, but still very beautiful scenery on the Ring of Beare, we just explored around the peninsula during the day, then for sunset we found a really lovely secluded beach, no idea of the exact location, but we were treated to a lovely sunset there.
The next morning we were booked on a rib boat trip out to a few islands, which was fantastic, but I didn’t manage to get many photos, we got soaking wet, and it was a bumpy ride! I did manage one mobile phone photo of Bull rock though, which was the best island, the island was surrounded by uncountable amount of birds, there is also a tunnel through the rock and we was all to go inside and through the tunnel.
After we arrived back onto the dry land, we had a change of clothes and a hot drink to warm up, and we hit the road again, next destination Bantry.
