Isle of Wight Photography Gallery
Here’s an update on Alfie in the Air Gallery in Ryde, I was based at number 8 Union Street, I was there for 5 years, a lot of changed since I opened my Isle of Wight Photography Gallery 5 years ago, approximately 2 years ago number 8 Union Street became to small when I started to make all my frames. I wanted to make my frames, this is because it cuts out the middle man for framing costs, and I can keep the quality as high as possible, I now use very nice expensive frame moulding, I can use a much better non reflective glass, rather than float glass, this improves the look of the pictures and gives a much better viewing experience, a lot of people who view my pictures can see there is any glass in the frame until I point it out.

I’ve now moved to number 29 Union Street, so still on the main Isle of Wight shopping street, in my opinion, definitely the best street for my Isle of Wight Photography Gallery. With this photography gallery its much larger, and gives me the space to display much more pictures and styles for people to view, as well as having different rooms and colours, this allows me to have my well known Alfie in the air dark blue, I also have a gorgeous yellow colour which looks fabulous paired with a nice black framed picture, and I also have my favourite neutral colour which is a sort of pinky/plaster colour. I hope I can give some inspiration for colours to people.

As well as having much more space to display my photography in my gallery, I also have a much better space as my workshop area, where I can use all my machines, also I have much more storage to be able to keep in stock more materials.
